      Hello to all my fellow STEMers! We have officially shipped MESAMobile 1.1 to all users that are on iOS! Here are some of the critical changes:

        • Updated Support for iPad, with massive interface changes.

        • Drawer Navigation on several pages like Social, Profile and Learning to make navigation quicker and smoother.

        • Optimizations for Bottom Sheet, fixing several bugs.

        • Fixed crashes related to room.

        • Rolled out Expo Updates, with now allows for more simple hotfixes and small changes to be released much, much quicker (like minutes instead of days,

        • no, really.

        • )

        • Continuous work on integration with Kiosk System that is currently in development.

        • Bug Fixes and Crash Fixes

        • Fixed any and all issues related to BottomSheet’s zindex.

        • Support for upcoming new post system, allowing for Math, Images and Code to appear more naturally.

        • Front Page updates including and upcoming Schedule and Notification System.

        • Updated Social and Events pages to be much more polished.

        • Visual updates across the board to make the app look more smooth and modern.

          Hello To All Of You! For the last few months, we have been spending a lot of time to smooth and polish the exprience as much as possible. But, we are officially going to do a showing of the website and all of the new features going on behind the scenes at MESA Valencia at 1 PM! We can not wait to showcase our app and we can not wait to see you all there!

          In the meantime, we must stress that as the Private Beta is coming up, we must get a few things out of the way:

          This website is releasing into the Beta State. It still is going to be an active work in progress. If there is any issues, feel free to contact us. We want to have all of the feedback to build the best platform for the students! Our end goal is to allow all of the schools to connect and allow us to communicate in a much broader way. As of right now, we only are going to be available to those at the College of the Canyons campus. We have a brief Beta Roadmap as well as some features to be coming up:

          Beta Release 1 - Releasing Soon

            • Create your account, socialize to all of the students!

            • Still a WIP, we will continue to add new features and more reasons to join. We want to build a platform that not only lasts, but people actively love to use.

          Mobile TestFlight Release

          In the near future, we want to roll out our Mobile Companion App. Our goal is for this to be a simple, but clean and fast way to talk to other students, with a faster and smoother feel compared to most mobile apps.

          Parts of the regular website may work on Mobile, but it is highly recommended to use the dedicated mobile app.

          Communities

          We want to roll out a communities feature before we officially hit 1.0. The Communities system could allow for other people from other clubs to communicate and build their own corner of MESA!

          Communities Beta for release in Late Fall - Winter 2024.

          Dark Mode

          We can officially say the whole website is in Dark Mode as well!

            Alpha Version 5 + Preparing For Beta

              Welcome back to school everybody! We are very excited to be back at MESA with every single one of you! We have some exciting news around Alpha Version 5! Although unfortunately there isn't many crazy fixes or any major changes, we are continuing to optimize and improve the exprience for the Beta Release, which will be arriving within the next few months. We would like to thank all of you for your patience!

              Changelog:

                • More consistant UI, specifically with Inputs

                • Made more responsive for small / vertical displays (50% finished)

                • Navigation bar improvements, with Loading Animation to help indicate if you clicked a page

                • Mobile Page

              This does not sound like a lot of major changes, however, these all contribute massive amounts to the push for a Beta Release. We still do not recommend using MESAConnect Website on Mobile, as we are still working on getting ready for the official release, and it is all about the small details and polish to get this app up and running. We can not wait to roll out the Beta Version to all of you!!!
